The Miramar Technology and Training Access Center (MTTAC),
Funded through Siemens is a digital literacy hub helping Miramar residents who are facing barriers to educational and vocational success and access to broadband.
Located at the Multi-Service Complex in Historic Miramar, MTTAC offers access to users of different ages, abilities, and socioeconomic status to state of the art Bluetooth technology to help them reach their individual digital goals.
Miramar seniors have been the first to utilize this technology learning social media and cyber security, so they can easily communicate with their tech-savvy children and grandchildren safely. Future MTTAC users will include youth exploring higher education opportunities, adults seeking employment, and residents of all ages wishing to increase their digital knowledge.
This innovative learning hub builds on the strong community Miramar has built and continues to leverage the public / private partnerships that will best serve our most at-risk residents.
