Board Meeting Minutes for

Special Meeting held on March 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM

• Meeting Attendees: Sophia Bryan, Eric Silva, Ian Evans-Smith, Italia Thurston, Kirk Hobson-Garcia, Veronica Walker, Ramone Walker, Anthony Collins, and Susan Gooding-Liburd

• The purpose of this special meeting was to discuss what was needed for E.D.G.E. website. Mr. Walker needs the following: President’s message, news sections, community calendar, etc.

• Board discussed the following.
  • Obtaining an email address and telephone number from the City’s IT Department
  • Create Paypal account to accept donations
  • Need a mailing address in addition to the digital address
  • Post monthly meetings on website
  • Volunteering at the City’s food drive at Regional Park
  • Need marketing collateral from the Office of Marketing & Public Relation for the website
  • Discussed CICF Grant: this item was tabled for April 1, 2021 meeting
  • Slogan for E.D.G.E.

• Sophia Bryan was assigned the task of obtaining an e-mail address and telephone number from the City of Miramar’s IT Department, as well as obtaining marketing collateral from the Office of Marketing Public Relations. Lorna Walker will be invited to the next board meeting.
