Assist Children in shelters
City of Miramar’s Miramar Gives Back Program: Provided financial support to assist children in shelters, the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Scholarship, and Miramar Gives Back Scholarship. City of Miramar employee won a $2,000 back to school scholarship.
Installation of ten communication boards
City Manager’s Office, Office of the Chief Operating Officer for Health and Education: Assisted with the costs of installation of ten communication boards in nine City of Miramar’s parks. These communication boards are key component of the City’s efforts to make public spaces more inclusive and accessible for individuals with autism and other communication challenges.

Social Services Department: Supported the Miramar Seniors Do More Program, which included hip-hop dancing, karate/self-defense, Tai Chi, Painting, Jewelry making, and flower design for 100 seniors.
Cultural Start
Miramar Department of Cultural Affairs: Sponsored the Department of Cultural Affairs’ Cultural Start, a program started by the city that offers cultural education to children in the South Florida communities. At the start of each Cultural Start presentation, children are invited to “fasten their seat belts and prepare for an airplane ride to their destination,” they are also encouraged to use passports as they travel to different destinations.
Aldi Cares
Aldi Cares Community Gift, Food & Vegetables Program: Purpose of this grant was to help Miramar’s summer and aftercare programs, supplement their “snack” portion by adding nutritional fresh fruits and vegetables to the menu at the Youth Enrichment Center.
Sea Castle Elementary Parent Teachers Association Luncheon
Sea Castle Elementary Parent Teachers Association Luncheon: ono May 2 2024, the board of Directors of Edge Sponsored the Sea Castle Elementary Parent Teachers Association Luncheon. The luncheon is an annual event held, May 10, 2024, at 9600 Miramar Blvd. Food, drinks and music made this festive event a success.
Organize fundraising activities for Not-For-Gotten Toy Drive
EDGE requested title sponsorship with Memorial Healthcare Systems for the sixth annual Not-Forgotten toy drive that will be held December 22 2024 from 12pm to 4pm. Memorial Healthcare Systems donated $4,000 which was used to toys and other services for 1500 to 2000 children and families.
Help: Autism and Related Disabilities.
City of Miramar Autism-Friendly City Initiative March 27, 2025, EDGE sponsored the cost to install communication boards in various parks in the City of Miramar. This will broaden the City of Miramar’s initiative to earn the official designation as an Autism-Friendly City from the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.
Miramar Technology and Training Access Center
Social Services Department: Supported the Miramar Technology and Training Access Center (MTTAC), a digital literacy hub that helps Miramar residents—particularly seniors— facing barriers to educational and vocational success and to access broadband.

MCC ARTSCAPE
Public art on display at the Miramar Cultural Center is the MCC ARTSCAPE, which is surrounded by an integrated botanical art, a permanent art structure: murals and sculptures on loan from various artists for one year.

Lil World Travelers Lounge
April 10, 2025, EDGE sponsored the cost to create a sensory friendly space for children with special needs to wait their passports are being processed by the Office of the City Clerk in the City of Miramar.

Miramar Gives Back Program: Miramar Community Garden
Miramar Community Garden: Secured funding from the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation to purchase a shed and upgrade the Garden’s irrigation system.

Miramar Police Department: Funded the registration of eight (8) City of Miramar certified police officers to attend the Institute of Public Safety training at the Broward College Police Academy.
