What we do

E.D.G.E. is committed to making a difference in the community. Our organization depends on donations, but not just financial donations, we need persons to donate their time, skills and resources to support the causes that E.D.G.E. looks to address.

Why Volunteer

While our calendars are packed with so many activities and errands, making time to volunteer is scientifically proven to have many benefits. We understand that saying “yes” to service might mean saying “no” to something else. But it will only require a little bit of planning, some creativity, an open mind and most importantly, provide a sense of purpose, foster growth, understanding and compassion.
Volunteering is a great way to enrich your life and positively impact the community. There are many programs that rely on volunteers. Some need volunteers with specific skill sets, but mostly need the commitment of time. Participating allows you to share your skills and learn new ones as well, while getting to know others. Volunteering plays a crucial role in building a resilient, supportive and inclusive community.

Corporate Service

By investing in corporate volunteerism, organizations forge valuable connections with the community and potential partners. It can also result in gaining a competitive edge, enhancing brand reputation and even boosting revenue. Volunteering allows employees to engage in meaningful and rewarding experiences, fosters human connections, and supports mental health and skill development.

Growing Kindness from the Start

No one is ever too young to make a difference. When children volunteer, they’re not just helping others — they’re learning empathy, compassion, and the joy of giving. These moments become cherished family memories and help kids feel more connected to their loved ones and their communities.

Whether it’s lending a hand at a food distribution or joining a park cleanup, even the youngest children can participate alongside parents and siblings. When giving back becomes part of their early experiences, it grows into a lifelong habit — a natural part of who they are.

At E.D.G.E., we believe in nurturing this spirit from the ground up. That’s why we’ve created opportunities where families can serve together, and we’re committed to expanding these efforts so that kindness continues to flourish across generations.
