Dear Esteemed Community,
It is my great honor to begin a new term as Chair of the Board of Directors for E.D.G.E., Florida. My career includes 23 years of being a liaison between the community and various organizations. Many of those years were in dedication to the City of Miramar and the advancement of economic development. My goal has always been to support and encourage our community, to ensure that all members young and young at heart are engaged in our fund-raising efforts and long-term vision.
The Board of E.D.G.E. is focused on improving the overall community programs within the city by creating a prosperous environment to work and live. It is such a great opportunity to be able to utilize the skills learned in my 23-year career to benefit and assist the community towards a flourishing path. I plan to employ my skills for community development to tackle any upcoming challenges in our infrastructure.
Our objectives include exploring new and innovative ways to amplify our creative resources and enable us to acquire adequate funding needed to improve the overall community programs for our citizens. During my career, I have been fortunate to be in a position that allowed me to experience collaboration with various organizations that benefited our growth. From Research and Development to Budget Preparation and Allocation, my expertise will continue to serve you in the coming terms. I seek to amplify collective action while expanding support in our charitable organizational efforts.
In order to achieve the best results, we must use all available strengths. So, I not only rely on my own, but on the unique strengths and talents of each board member as well as the voices of the community. You are all a large part of our success. Thank you for your contributions and as Board Chair, I will keep us focused on our missions and goals. I look forward to what we will create together.
