Our Story
Economic Development with on-Going community Engagement (E.D.G.E.) was conceived in 2019 with the purpose of providing benefits to the residents of Miramar by fulfilling community needs, filling service gaps left by the government and private sector, while driving economic growth and strengthening the community.
This nonprofit organization serves to assist Miramar’s rapidly growing and diverse population by accessing grants and donations to develop and implement locally driven initiatives. These aim to enhance community resilience by improving access to essential services, strengthening infrastructure, fostering sustainable economic development, and promoting community well-being.

Since the inception of E.D.G.E., the organization has carried out an array of initiatives that have served to support the local community. E.D.G.E. has established partnerships with several organizations that have provided both financial and in-kind donations to benefit residents of the City of Miramar, which is the third largest City in Broward County.
Our Board of Directors
The Board of E.D.G.E. is a dedicated group of leaders committed to advancing the organization’s mission. Comprised of professionals, the board provides strategic guidance, governance, and support to drive growth and impact. Their leadership ensures that E.D.G.E. continues to strengthen the Community in an impactful and innovative way. Our board is made up of passionate individuals who really want to see the organization succeed.
Message From Our Chairperson
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am extending a sincere thank you to some of the past donors such as OUTFRONT, Gold Coast Group of Companies, and Siemens for their continuous donations.
The mission, duty, and purpose of E.D.G.E., is to improve community programs such as social services, infrastructure, and facilities to ensure comprehensive effectiveness of community engagement efforts within the City of Miramar. We seek to “Take the E.D.G.E. off Public Funding” for the City of Miramar by looking for funding opportunities to carry out programing goals and objectives.
It is our intention to provide and assist with funding for community programs that will support the youth, elderly, cultural awareness, and infrastructure in the City of Miramar. In our pursuit to tackle societal challenges, pertaining to our mission, we hope to help Miramar, become a great place to work, live and play by advancing economic growth and prosperity within the City of Miramar through fundraising and charitable efforts.
